E-VIRTUAL - The empowering experience like none other........proactively.....
Technology has changed the way we live in this world. Matter of fact, our way of life has changed, our day to day style of dealing with activities have changed, the way we travel, we plan, we eat, we sleep, everything has been changed. Yet, I feel these are forced upon us....umm...I am talking about the certain use to technology that drives me to either go to a search engine, or even purchase a Smart Phone or even let me use a small function in an application.
It seems.......I am still disconnected with everything......the selection, application, utilization of what I use daily.
I work for a software powerhouse, we are number 1 globally in what we do, I absolutely love what I do and where my company is headed...Yet, I feel we can do so much more.
Driving cost down is going to be the most important aspect of future growth, utilizing the army of developers to create something unique that will sustain the company for years to come.........create something that not just creates products........but EXPERIENCE...........make the technology work for you........not the other way around......
In a growing economy where thousands are jobless, homeless, dreamless and hopeless, we have to come up with a solution that will enable consumers - consumers seeking jobs, consumers seeking solutions, consumers seeking answers to certain challenges with something that will catapult one's imagination and get them as close to reality. Actually make them feel..........make them part of it...
Make the "SALES" function part of creating an unique EXPERIENCE............think..........how cool would that be..
GPS, Smart Phones, Applications in Smart Phones, Websites, Blogs, News, Articles etc etc etc........too many avenues, too many ways to get information, reviews and views that we rely on blindly or close to blindly......look up whether - no problem, look up a restaurant - easy, review a wine - blink of an eye.........Yet... I still don't feel connected.
I want MORE and I want to erase the thought of "YET"........I want to feel NIRVANA everytime I seek something - a job, an information, shopping, direction.........whatever the heck it is..........I want to EXPERIENCE it before I get there or bring it.............
It is like if I touch fire - I burn, if I touch ice - I am cold..........why can't we do it with every walks of life?
That brings me to a place, I call it - E-VIRTUAL......where I can literally become part of a buying process, a selection process, a review process, a seeking process, an empowering EXPERIENCE that not only helps me make decision QUICKER but that will truly let me be me........a proactive lifestyle that helps me plan my life the way I want it to.....
Now let's see if I can interest you in actually imagining such a place or places...
1) Looking for a Preferred Physician - I want to VIRTUALLY take a trip to a doctor's practice, experience the services they offer, the way they treat a critical patient or even advice a critical situation, how do they handle billing, how do they manage their pharmacy........this experience can be linked to a hospital where I would like to have my next child........take a trip to their infant section, you get the idea...
2) Now let's look at business seeking to make a large Supply Chain Solution that will create a global link to their prospects and customers worldwide - won't it better, if such customers are introduced to a VIRTUAL tour of the product and a solution, especially if they can EXPERIENCE a very critical business process that deals with Product Availability globally, imagine a good produced - shipped to warehouse - to be tracked globally till it reaches it destination as promised in time.....can you imagine a vendor saving ALL that money in cost of doing business...........
3) Thinking of VACATION......well...let's see if I can Virtually scour the plane that takes me there, the resort that promised me so much, the location, the area.........I want to be enabled to make that decision....proactively........
4) Purchasing a home/car......well.....I am really looking for my dream kitchen....the pictures look great..........now I want to VIRTUALLY see it so that I can EXPERIENCE it.....proactively......why NOT...
5) DNA........hey......I will be 50 in the next 8-10 years......I don't know what the heck will be happening to me......genome technology has now given us some hope, can I experience it Virtually?........i would like to see inside me.......a CAT SCAN, an MRI...........how can I virtually take a trip inside my body and see the green or red..........can you imagine that?? Actually PRO-ACTIVELY making sure you live LONGER.......HEALTHIER..........I would...
A Virtual marketplace is the NEXT BIG THING...........I know, I know.....the BIG DATA is suppose to be the next big thing.......but it's still doesn't allow a consumer, a user, a decision maker to EXPERIENCE the OUTCOMES of digging through the gazzillion bytes of data....
I want to see technology making life SIMPLE........not complicated.........I want my choices to be simple.....not life threathning, I want to enjoy my life without asking too many questions, I want to save headaches of making one wrong decision............if Technology is an enabler..........then shouldn't it create an EXPERIENCE that makes me feel that I am and I was part of that decision???????????
May be...there is something in play......may be something already exist......but let's make it mainstream.......may be .......it might just be around the corner.......
